They say that “…diamonds are a girl’s best friend…” Well, those are lovely but, in my case, I would probably opt for CHOCOLATE!!!! Yep, CHOCOLATE!!!! Did I say I LOVE CHOCOLATE!!!!
I wanted a recipe that would give me the fudgy chocolate taste I desired. Something that I can indulge in but without the carbs and sugar. This recipe was inspired by www.ketoconnect.net on their blog. They have great tips and advice on products and recipes that can aid you in your healthy lifestyle.
They used avocados for these cookies and what better way to have another use for avocados other than on toast or guacamole. So, I was excited to customize this to my family’s liking. The hardest part of this recipe is mashing the avocado. It’s not hard but…yeah...moving on. What I like is that you can dump all the ingredients in one bowl and just mix. It makes for a good arm workout. Once you've got everything mix together well just place it on your baking sheet with parchment paper. I got 9 cookies out of this recipe, but you can always double this recipe. After that this is where I added the Bakers Chocolate on top and pressed the cookies a little for an even spread, but not too much. Once they were all pressed to my liking, I placed them in the oven and after about 10 min I could smell the chocolate outside on my patio. I removed them from the oven and after sticking a toothpick in them to check for doneness, I set them aside to completely cool. I couldn't wait any longer……I finally had the chance to taste one and OMG!!!! CHOCOLATE OVERLOAD!!!!
