I’m on a health journey at this very moment. What can I say, I like variety? In my life, the work I do and my food. I decided to try lamb. For some reason I get the sense that Gordon Ramsey is going to curse me out while I try to cook them for the first time. Needless to say, I was intimidated. The flavor I thought that may be safe for me to try was something with garlic and an herb. Rosemary Garlic Lamb Chops is what I decided to try. I combined all the seasonings to make a rub and put that all over the chops.
I heated a skillet to medium heat with the olive oil. Placed the lamb in the skillet and listened to the sound of the sizzle. I did that for about 3 min and yes, I was in a trance from the smell. I flipped the chops and added the garlic cloves to infuse into the oil as a base for the chops. I like my chops medium well, some people like rare, medium rare, well done whatever you decide its ok, it’s yours to create. I let the chops sit for about 5 min before diving in to keep the moisture. I decided to pair this with a vegetable and a fiber choice. I chose red potatoes and a melody of cauliflower, broccoli and carrots better known as the California Blend. I decided to cook the potatoes in the same seasoned skillet as the lamb was in. Délicieux!!!!! I hope you try this recipe, for a great V-Day dinner or just to change up your food choices. Au revoir!
