It felt good trying this dish. It was different and nutritious. I used the same method that is used to make any baked fried chicken. I used egg whites and almond milk as my mixture to hold my coating. It wasn’t thin or too thick. It had the right consistency and I was confident that the coating mixture would stick well. And it did!

I always have a seed mixture stored in a jar to add to smoothies or on top of toast with cream cheese and fruit. In the mixture I had flax, chia, hemp and sunflower seeds. This mixture is beneficial nutritiously. Within this mixture there is omega 3 & 6 fats, protein and amino acids. There is also fiber. This mixture also benefits you by aiding in lowering blood sugar from the chia seeds, reducing cholesterol and helping in reducing heart disease.

The steps are easy in this recipe. Take your chicken coat it in the egg mixture and the seed mixture and place on a rack and bake in the oven. Once done you should have hot crispy chicken with a twist.
